Arcade cabinet game I worked on at The Game Refuge in 1999. You can still find it in arcades.
In the game I made all the environment art, except for sick bay (not shown).
This is an arcade light gun game, on rails, as they say. It's a series of long pre-rendered movies, with real-time characters integrated into the scene via a depth mask generated during the rendering process. I mapped out the path, animated the camera, worked out the pause points for combat, alternate pathways, the whole works related to that all in 3DS Max. Myself and one other artist laid out the paths the characters moved along.
I made the Voyager, Borg Cube and Sphere assets, FX, Space.
There was one artist on characters and another on animation.
While we carpooled into work another artist and I worked out the story. He left the company before we began development.
Sorry for the poor quality, this is from an old VHS reel.
